In Dancehall classes, you’ll learn a wide variety of musical rhythms and authentic Dancehall technique. Our teacher will help you master these and develop into a fantastic Dancehall dancer. This means everyone in the classes can capture the right vibe and let loose. 

Character and Energy

Dancehall is a dynamic style that calls for plenty of character. Whether playful or really bold, in Dancehall class you’ll get the chance to explore this and more. The different types of Dancehall music will challenge you to use your energy in the right way. All this makes Dancehall a great workout in many ways.

Dancehall

In Dancehall classes, you’ll learn all about the original Dancehall moves. You’ll then put them together in a fun choreography to the hottest Dancehall tracks. From dancing to the latest hits by Konshens  and Koffee to Dancehall legends such as Vybz Kartel and Sean Paul. Or perhaps something with a more feminine touch from Spice? You name it, it’s all covered in Dancehall classes. All the musical moods and vibes offered by the rich Dancehall genre are explored, along with the Dancehall moves and techniques behind them. Step into the world of Dancehall and learn everything you need to become a fantastic Dancehall dancer.

Inspiring Lessen

Our teachers zorgen for the juiste mate  van begeleiding. Zij helpen, adviseren and stimuleren iedere danser op gepaste wijze  during the classes. Kun je meer aan? Dan geven we meer materiaal. Wil je nog even een bewegingen herhalen? Our teacher neemt the tijd om the with je te herhalen, net zolang totdat jij the helemaal voluit kan dance.

Working on a great performance

Op een groot podium jouw Dancehall kunsten laten zien? Daar zorgen we for! Samen with je Dancehall groep bereid je een toffe presentatie for die je gaat laten zien during the grote Flexx_N Dance Academy Eindforstelling. En natuurlijk nodig je, je parents, vrienden and klasgenoten uit om dit mee te kunnen maken. Een feest for iedereen and jij bent the ster.

Clothing

In Dancehall classes, you want to let loose to the swinging rhythms of Dancehall music.

Veel dancers dragen daarom lichte kleding, waarin ze zich vrij kunnen bewegen. Een T-Shirt of lichte trui with een joggingbroek of legging. Wij raden aan om dat te combineren with gemakkelijke schoenen with een goede grip. 

 

Costs

After your trial class, are you completely hooked on Dancehall dancing? Then request an enrolment form straight away. 

 Monthly tuition fees are as follows:

  • 13–17 years: €26,50
  • 18+: €30,50

Dancing with the whole family

Dancing is most fun when everyone joins in. We offer classes for all ages, including adults and seniors. Does your son or daughter already dance with us? You’ll receive a special discount if you take classes too. Want to get ready for the end-of-year show together at home? Parents with a child member pay €27,- per month for one class.
